12 Hour WOD Marathon

Today we are hosting a 12-hour WOD Marathon to raise school supplies for our many AMAZING teachers at CrossFit West of the River! LaMonte and Julie Styles will be doing a WOD every hour for 12 hours from 9am – 9pm Saturday. If you would like to join them, you are more than welcome to do so as an individual or a team. You can scale the WOD however needed and it is open to ALL skill levels! If you decide to join them, we ask that you make a donation of school supplies or a minimum of $5 per WOD. You can do 1 or all 12 WOD’s but you must donate EACH time you work out. You will have the whole hour to do the work, then we restart the clock on the next hour. This is purely for school supplies and for fun. It is not a competition, we will not be keeping times of workouts or scores but rather bringing together community for a cause. We want to show our teachers how very much we love and appreciate all the hard work that they do and hopefully provide all the supplies they will need for the year!

The WODs will be as follows:
9am: Morrison: 50-40-30-20-10 WB, Box Jump, KB Swings (53/35)
10am: 1 Mile for Time
11am: Ryan: 5 rounds for time: 7 MU, 21 Burpees
12pm: ½ Grace
1pm: Adrian: 7 Rounds: 3 Forward Rolls, 5 Wall Climbs, 7 T2B, 9 Box Jumps
2pm: Lite Elizabeth: 21-15-9 Squat Cleans, Ring Dips (95/65)
3pm: Devin: 4 Rounds: 10 Power Snatch (95/65), 24 DU, 9 Burpees
4pm: Annie: 50-40-30-20-10 DU, Sit-ups
5pm: 1/2 Karen
6pm: Buddy WOD: Josh: 21 OHS, 42 pullups, 15 OHS, 30 pullups, 9 OHS, 18 Pull-ups (95/65)
7pm: Lite DT: 3rounds 12 DL, 9 hang cleans, 5 push jerks (135/95)
8pm: Buddy WOD: Badger: 3 rounds: 30 squat cleans, 30 pullups, 800m run (95/65)

The 9am WOD will be part of the usual WOR WOD so you do NOT need to make a donation to do that one. 10am WOD will start at exactly 10am. 11am WOD will start at 11:30am – as soon as the Intro to CF class is over. The rest will start at the top of the hour, each hour.
Spectators and supporters are encouraged to be a part of the action. Please bring drinks, food, chairs, sleeping bags, etc. Whatever you need to be comfortable – especially if you’re in it for the full 12 hours!
